ETBU Greece Jan 20East Texas Baptist University paid us funds in 2019 for their track team to travel to Athens, Greece. The team of 18 traveled from Dallas, Texas to Athens, Greece where they worked alongside our partners at Streetlight Ministries. The team members did community work by painting and light construction at local school and tutoring sites and distributed Christian literature to anyone who expressed interest. The team members also participated in a running of the original marathon route.
Japan IMB Vision #1,2,&3The International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention sent three groups to Japan in an effort to cast a vision for the ministry to take place at the Summer Olympics. The members of each of these three teams were given a tour of the hotels, food options and ministry locations for Christian Ministry outreach during the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
