NEWTOWN RECREATION IS DEDICATED TO INCREASING THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE JOHNS CREEK COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING POSITIVE SPORTS EXPERIENCES FOR ALL CHILDREN, COACHES, AND PARENTS. WE BELIEVE THAT EACH CHILD, REGARDLESS OF ABILITY, SHOULD HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO GROW ATHLETICALLY AND SOCIALLY THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN SPORTS PROGRAMS THAT ARE FUN AND SAFE.
THE PROGRAM SERVED OVER 950 CHILDREN IN ITS SOCCER PROGRAM, OVER 350 CHILDREN IN ITS FLAG FOOTBALL PROGRAM, OVER 325 CHILDREN IN ITS BASEBALL PROGRAM, AND OVER 175 CHILDREN IN OTHER PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES. THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN INVOLVED IN THESE PROGRAMS DURING THE CURRENT TAX YEAR IS SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN NORMAL DUE TO COVID-19.
