THE MISSION OF ARTSBRIDGE FOUNDATION IS TO EXPAND ARTS EDUCATION FOR ALL GEORGIA STUDENTS. THE VISION OF ARTSBRIDGE FOUNDATION IS THAT EVERYONE HAS ACCESS TO ARTS EXPERIENCES.
MISSION - TO EXPAND ARTS EDUCATION FOR ALL GEORGIA STUDENTS. ARTSBRIDGE PROVIDES QUALITY ARTS EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMMING, DESIGNED TO INSPIRE CREATIVITY AND FOSTER THE NEXT GENERATION OF ARTISTS AND ARTS SUPPORTERS.SINCE 2007, ARTSBRIDGE HAS ENGAGED OVER 410,000 K-12 STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS FROM 67 GEORGIA COUNTIES. WE OFFER HIGH QUALITY ARTS EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS AT THE COBB ENERGY CENTRE IN THE FORM OF FIELD TRIPS, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES (MASTER CLASSES, COLLEGE FAIR AND SUMMER CAMPS, ETC.), FAMILY PROGRAMS, THE ANNUAL GEORGIA HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS - SHULER HENSLEY AWARDS (WINNER OF THREE SOUTHEAST EMMY AWARDS) AND OUR NEW SNACK PACK PROGRAM, WHEREIN WE PROVIDE A NUTRITIOUS SNACK PACK TO EVERY STUDENT WHO ATTENDS A LUNCH TIME FIELD TRIP. DUE TO THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, WE ARE PIVOTING TO OFFER A VIRTUAL SLATE OF PROGRAMMING FOR THE 2020-2021 SEASON.
FIELD TRIPS/FAMILY SERIES - THROUGH FIELD TRIPS TO THE COBB ENERGY PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE, ARTSBRIDGE OFFERS STUDENTS K-12 ACCESS TO HIGH QUALITY PERFORMING ARTS PRODUCTIONS. DUE TO THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, A PORTION OF THIS YEAR'S PROGRAMMING WAS CANCELLED OR CONVERTED TO A VIRTUAL FORMAT WHERE POSSIBLE.
GEORGIA HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS - PATTERNED AFTER BROADWAY'S TONY AWARDS, THE GEORGIA HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS, ALSO KNOWN AS THE SHULER AWARDS, IS NOW IN ITS 12TH YEAR. THIS ANNUAL ARTSBRIDGE PRODUCTION CELEBRATES EXCELLENCE IN HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE IN GEORGIA. SCHOOLS STATEWIDE PARTICIPATE IN THIS UNIQUE PROFESSIONAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE. DUE TO THE IMPACT OF THE COVID PANDEMIC, THE SHULER AWARDS, NORMALLY A LIVE SHOW AND A SELLOUT, WAS REIMAGINED FOR 2020 AND PRESENTED IN A VIRTUAL FORMAT.
MASTER CLASSES - THROUGH MASTER CLASSES, ARTSBRIDGE OFFERS STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRAIN WITH PROFESSIONALS IN THE MANY DISCIPLINES OF THEATRE. DUE TO THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, A PORTION OF THIS YEAR'S PROGRAMMING WAS CANCELLED.
