Since its beginning, North Atlanta's Genesis Center has worked with individuals, couples, and families to help them gain new perspectives, transform their lives, and improve relationships. Members of the center's Christian counseling staff are all licensed by the state of Georgia in either professional counseling or marriage and family therapy. As a result, our clients receive the highest level of professional knowledge and insight from a Christian counselor who is also committed to healing the whole person.

The Genesis Center for Christian Counseling is a counseling and prevention ministry of the North Atlanta Church of Christ. As its name implies, the Genesis Center was founded with interest in "new beginnings." Individuals and families often need a fresh start and a helpful relationship to gain new perspectives. The word "Christian" in our title refers to both the staff and the attitude of our center. Our staff members are all professional counselors who hold graduate degrees in mental health. They are also committed Christians. As a result, we provide the highest level of professional counseling from a Christian counselor who is committed to holistic healing. We believe individuals and relationships are only restored when physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs are met. Our focus is both remedial and preventative. In 2020. we served 170 clients and provided 1535 clinical hours of counseling. We also provided $87,800 in fee assistance based on client financial need in 2020 so that anyone in our area of influence in need of counseling services could be seen. In addition, we provided resources for North Atlanta church of Christ's education efforts for healing and prevention.
