Global Conservation Corps Mission is to conserve wildlife through education programs and platforms of communites surrounding wildlife and ecosystems that are under threat from human influences.
Conserving wildlife by pioneering education platforms to bridge the gap between communites and wildlife
Global Conservation Corps was able to enroll 4 schools with approx 3000 students from grades 1-12 in South Africa to its Pilot Future Rangers Program. This progam is set to launch in more schools in the 2020 year through partnering with organizations who have proven relationships with community leaders in areas that are high in need for conservation education and practices.
Global Conservation Corps works directly with the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve in Limpopo South Africa to equip field rangers with the necessary supplies and gear that are required to combat poaching in the area. In 2020 we will distribute further supplies to the 50 rangers that we currently support. It is because of these brave men and women that we are able to see iconic wildlife today that is under such heavy threat due to illegal poaching activites.
The Global Conservation Corps is creating a conservation documentary called RHINO MAN which highlights the brave conservation heroes on the front lines of the rhino-poaching war in South Africa. We are working with large distribution companies like Discovery and Netflix to use this as a marketing tool to raise awareness and funds for field rangers and their cause
