The John and Lillian Miles Lewis Foundation,Inc. was conceived by Congressman John Lewis to honor and continue his and his wife's important and inspiring legacy of purposeful living, strengthening democracy through civic engagement, and building the "beloved community," a community that values the dignity and worth of every human being.

And, it will amplify the voices of young people, visionaries, creatives, change agents and disrupters in art, culture, science, business and politics.
