Organizations Filed Purposes:
Love Not Lost is reshaping the way we show up for those in grief. Through our Photography Program we photograph people facing a terminal diagnosis and gift them a custom album of their session. We also create empathy tools & resources through our Grief Support Program.
In 2019, we added 4 additional photographers to our volunteer team to serve our hospital and hospice partners. In order to manage the applicants, photographers, and referral partners, we hired a full-time key relations manager who started at the end of July. Our new manager helped us build better systems to make our workflow more efficient so we can scale. In addition to re-structuring, we served 13 families throughout the year and added one more hospice partner.
At the beginning of 2019, we were able to partner with a web development team to expand our printed support tool into a digital support tool that is free to anyone and can be found at www.HowCanILoveYouBetter.com. We continued to print and give away empathy cards, care cards, and encouragement cards at events and upon request. We are continuing to hear stories of impact of how these tools have helped people show up for friends, family, and coworkers in meaningful ways.
