The Foundation seeks to improve the health of people in the Americas. In furtherance of its Exempt Purpose, the Foundation raises, manages, and distributes funds to support activities conducted primarily in the Latin America-Caribbean regions.
Communicable Diseases - the Foundation supports work to strengthen Zika preparedness and prevention, Dengue Prevention and Control, and to improve Influenza and Meningoccal surveillance in the Americas. Health Systems - the Foundation supports work to improve the health systems in the Americas through partnerships that address the creation of new guidelines that seek to improve policies, addressing women's health, and engaging in activities that support work and school based health and wellness.
