Organizations Filed Purposes:
Springdale Park Elementary's Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) enriches the elementary educational experience by 1) promoting family involvement, 2) encouraging support of educational objectives between teachers, families, administration and the community, 3) raising funds for academic support support, educational enrichment and community building for students, and 4) promoting a safe, fun learning environment.
During the 2019-2020 school year, the SPARK PTO invested in the following areas: -Classroom curriculum, including educational software for English/Language Arts/Reading, Math and General Education -Teacher support, including training and grants for classroom supplies and innovative teaching tools -Enrichment programs, including in-school programs for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and fine arts -Community building, including volunteer events, yearbooks and family nights-Safety, operations and facilities, including media center collection expansion, visitor sign-in software and walkie-talkies for staff
