ROTARY FAMILY HEALTH DAYS is the flagship program of RFHA.This platform has been in place since 2011. Family Health Days have been successful in both India and Africa. These programs are led by thousands of Rotarians and treat and diagnose multiple thousands of patients. Offerings include lifesaving screenings for HIV, TB, Malaria, Diabetes, Blood Pressure maladies, Cancer along with lifelong immunizations for polio and measles. Family counseling / planning, deworming and Vitamin A supplements are also provided. Linkages to follow-up and ongoing care are provided for all patients testing positive. A data collection tool is used to validate service offerings and results. A 90-day impact study is conducted after every event to prove and provide impact and sustainability. These Family Health Days are implemented across several countries at hundreds of sites, through a massive Public / Private Partnership that RFHA has organized and developed with each individual country's Rotary clubs, Ministries of Health, the CDC, USAID teams, The Rotary Foundation, private sector foundations and other various corporate supporters. Since 2010, RFHA has served hundreds of thousands of citizens in the countries of Nigeria, Uganda, Ghana and South Africa. The medical services and all manners of support have been valued well in excess of $15,000,000.
