Organizations Filed Purposes:
Village Micro Fund is a community of businesses that sit on the westside of Atlanta and we educate, connect, and organize our community of local black owned businesses through our accelerator, cooperatives, and events. Village Micro Fund is a social impact fund that allows Community residents to invest alongside us in their favorite local black owned business through our crowdfunding platform and our cooperatively raised fund.
The goal of this program is to provide local businesses with the tools they need to get closer to the actualization of their potential and purpose. We do that by providing the guidance, space and time for our Village to focus on transitioning from working in their business to working on their business. During our course, our entrepreneurs dive into our curriculum to gain a deeper knowledge of their business model as well as how that model fits into the larger community. By the end of this course, you will have: Completed Business Model Completed Business Plan Completed Pitch Deck Completed Pitch The skills and confidence necessary to present in front of an audience Professional headshots Access to technical assistance Access to small business resources and funding
