The specific purpose for which this corporation is organized is to provide support to the community at-large through cancer related illness support and education in all aspects of the organization by promoting cancer related education for the families of the community at-large.
The Robin Latimore Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide scholarships and stipends to cancer survivors, caregivers and children. Stipends will assist survivors in transitioning back into everyday life following treatment and enable caregivers to continue assisting them in their daily wellness journey. Scholarships are provided annually to further the education of students who are undergoing treatment or who have a parent undergoing treatment. We wish to assist in paying those bills that have gone into arrears due to lack of monies earned during treatment. We will accomplish this mission through community outreach, special events and awareness campaigns. Our signature event will again include a night of celebration and song featuring some of the hottest musicians and entertainers around. The Pink and Blue Extravaganza will be held at 7 p.m., October 11th at the Hyatt-Regency Downtown Atlanta/International Ballroom.
