TO PROMOTE CARROLL COUNTY IN INDUSTRY AND SERVICE THROUGH THE USE OF VARIOUS COMMITTEES, PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS.
Promoting and improving small business, technology and growth in Carroll County through the use of various councils and committees, projects and events. 2019 events included 2 new member orientations with an average of 25 individuals in attendance. Also in 2019 was the annual celebration with Governor Brian Kemp as the keynote speaker with well over 275 in attendance. At the celebration was the presentation of the Citizen of the Year Award, the Thomas S Upchurch Workforce Education Award, Entrepreneur of the Year Award and a new award named after longtime community supporter James Gill the James A Gill Volunteer of the Year Award. Our Chamber hosted a total of 27 events in all: 3 coffee breaks; 3 membership breakfasts; 9 seminars; 2 government affairs events; leadership academy (with 13 sessions); Lunch on the Chamber and Harvest Dinner just to name a few. In addition, the Chamber assisted with 32 ribbon cuttings and certified over 150 certificates of origin.
