CAREER HUB: PROVIDES EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE, TRAINING CLASSES, NETWORKING SUPPORT, JOB PLACEMENT AND COMPUTER/INTERNET ACCESS TO REFUGEES IN THEIR SEARCH FOR EMPLOYMENT. EMBRACE BIRTH SUPPORT: PROVIDES PRE- AND POST-NATAL EDUCATION AND SUPPORT TO REFUGEE WOMEN WHO ARE PREGNANT OR NEW MOTHERS. YOUTH PROGRAMS: PROVIDES A SUMMER CAMP FOR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS TO EXPERIENCE ARTS AND CRAFTS, SPORTS, TUTORING, AND FIELD TRIPS; PROVIDES STUDENTS TUTORING, ACCESS TO COMPUTERS AND INTERNET FOR PROJECTS, TEST PREPARATION, GROUP ACTIVITIES, SPORTS, AND MENTORING; PROVIDES A SAFE AND ENRICHING ENVIRONMENT WHEN THE TRADITIONAL SCHOOL DAY ENDS. COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE: PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WITH RENT AND OTHER EXPENSES FOR FAMILIES PARTICIPATING IN FRIENDS OF REFUGEES PROGRAMS, ALONG WITH CONTRIBUTIONS TO OTHER COMMUNITY NEEDS. COMMUNITY GARDEN: PROVIDES GARDEN PLOTS AND COMMUNITY SPACE FOR REFUGEES TO GROW FOOD FOR THEIR FAMILIES AND SELL PRODUCE FOR PERSONAL INCOME. START MICRO-ENTERPRISE CLARKSTON: PROVIDES A BUSINESS ACCELERATOR PROGRAM ENCOMPASSING TRAINING, MENTORING, AND ACCESS TO FUNDS TO HELP LAUNCH NEW REFUGEE-OWNED BUSINESSES; DELIVERED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH EMORY UNIVERSITY'S GOIZUETA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS. JOLLY AVENUE DEVELOPMENT CENTER: CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDES INVESTMENTS IN COMMUNITY SPACES FOR SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES THAT EMPHASIZE EDUCATION, ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT, AND WELL-BEING. PROGRAM SUPPORT: PROVIDES OPERATIONAL SUPPORT TO PROGRAMS OPERATED BY THE ORGANIZATION. IN ADDITION, INDIVIDUALS DONATED IN-KIND SERVICES AND RENT WITH THE APPROXIMATE FAIR MARKET VALUE OF 172,572.
