One World Link is a non-profit organization focused on bringing the world together, one community at a time. The One World Link mission is to encourage social and systemic change to communities across the world by using local resources and promoting community responsibility. We use technology and research to work with youth groups, adults and institutions to implement our programs or help them create programs that are specific to their community's needs. We accomplish our work through our programs and collaborations.
Completed our first term of service with AmeriCorps members who served over 11,000 hours collectively over 10 months of service.
We were able to shift our service delivery from workforce development to helping maintain food security for the residents of Macon when the COVID pandemic started. This helped us to meet a critical need.
As a result of the work the AmeriCorps team did, we formed 3 new partnerships with organizations in Macon including Georgia Campaign for Adolesent Power and Potential (GCAPP) , Communities in Schools and Middle Georgia Community Food Bank.
