Organizations Filed Purposes:
Our mission is to offer hope and support, enabling children and their mothers to break the cycle of homelessness by empowering them to become part of mainstream society as active, productive citizens through programs and special events designed to address their academic, emotional, and physical needs.
Our Back 2 School campaign provides new and filled book bags to children living in homeless shelters, battered women shelters, and group homes throughout 19 metro-Atlanta counties.
Our New Hope Scholarship program awards scholarships for technical school, trade school, or college to high school seniors living in shelters and group homes.
Our 12 Days of Caring campaign provides a reason for children living in shelters and group homes to jump out of bed on December 25th. Each child gets a minimum of 5 new gifts/toys. In Novemeber we also distriubte over 40,000 pounds of meat, along with gift cards to fill up food pantries of the shelters and group homes in metro-Atlanta.
