Organizations Filed Purposes:
To rescue and find permanent homes for unwanted cats in our community, and to support efforts to humanely decrease the population of unwanted cats through trap-neuter-release (TNR) services.
During 2020,We rescued 997 unwanted cats. Each cat was placed in a foster home, received medical care, was spayed/neute red, microchipped, combo tested, and received age appropriate shots. At year end, 900 had been placed in forever homes.
During 2020, we spayed/neutered 385 cats through our TNR program, avoiding the birth of an additional estimated 4.1 million cats in a 5 year period. Our program is targeted to humanely reduce cat overpopulation by stopping the breeding cycle. Each cat was spayed/neutered, provided a basic medical checkup, and ear tipped.
