The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) is a national public health association of chronic disease directors. Its mission is to improve the health of the public by strengthening state-based leadership and expertise for chronic disease prevention and control in states and at the national level.
Prevention - NACDD implements various public health programs and activities to address prevention, early detection, and education using different tools, innovative resources, and strategies to prevent chronic diseases.

Technical assistance and support are aimed at public health practitioners working at the state, territorial and local levels, people working in professional positions like public health practitioners, health educators, nurses, physicians, epidemiologists, evaluators, and social workers whose focus is chronic disease prevention and health promotion.
