At Tara Council 6352, in Jonesboro, Georgia we Knights strive to be a living example of this faith. In our homes, in our places of business, and in our community, we look for ways to keep Christ with our families, our neighbors, our country, and our Church. We are a local chapter of the Knights of Columbus. The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by a 29-year-old parish priest, Father Michael J. McGivney, in the basement of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Connecticut. Today, more than a century later, the Knights of Columbus has become the largest lay organization in the Catholic Church. At Tara Council 6352, in Jonesboro, Georgia we Knights strive to be a living example of this faith.
