Organizations Filed Purposes:
To provide shelter and basic needs to Dawson County's homeless dogs and cats; to provide suitable forums for their adoption and to ensure all are spayed or neutered; to educate the citizens as to humane animal care.
Provided shelter, food and medicine to homeless animals. Through our adoption programs, we found loving homes for 667 dogs, cats and pigs. Adoptions occur at our shelter facility and at offsite events, generally at PetSmart, hosted on most weekends during the year. More than 605 animals were spayed or neutered in 2019 in our shelter program or through our financial support of the low cost spay/neuter program for non-shelter animals.
