Organizations Filed Purposes:
Being a bridge to success for local families wishing to make positive lifestyle changes, for children in all public and private schools by teaching character education and abstinence for sexual activity, alcohol and drugs, and enable parents to be teachers of their children.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATIONAn ongoing collaboration among different organizations in Greene County that are focused on early childhood with the goal of working in partnership with parents so that every child is kindergarten ready when they enter school.
CHRISTIAN LEARNING CENTERWork in three local high schools (two public and one private) teaching approximately 140 students in current sessions. Teaching is Biblically centered and courses are SACS accredited. Students receive full academic credit and courses are graded. Classes meet 5 days per week during the regular school day at off campus locations. Atlas provides transportation, all classroom and teaching materials, and paid instruction.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMSSeparate programs are provided for boys and girls. A Place for Girls is to offer life changing relationships, activities and programs that empower girls to be their best selves. Our mission at Man UP is to teach young men to be godly leaders, stand up in a godly way, take godly actions and be responsible for their choices.
