Because of Kennedy exists to care for orphans and vulnerable families by meeting their basic needs, while leading people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
a.) Orphan Care, Child Development, and Family Empowerment. This program serves 208 vulnerable orphaned children and their families (1,040 people) by providing child education and micro-savings based entrepreneurial training for the guardian of the child in Ethiopia.
b.) Deployment of one missionary family and short- (<4 weeks) and mid-term (1-6 months) volunteers to serve 1200 people from vulnerable families in Ethiopia in our programs. These expenses are for travel related expenses for our volunteers and are not used for salary or other compensation.
c.) To use low-cost technology to assess the risk of obstructed labor of women in Ethiopia.
