Organizations Filed Purposes:
A faith based organization that meets others where they are by supporting the community through serving food to in-need students, offering adult ESL classes, transitional housing, and student reading recovery.
Weekend Food Ministry - provide food for the weekend for students in Title I schools that are identified as being food insecure. The bags are filled with kid friendly items pull top cans, individual, microwavable items, etc., and the service is repeated each Friday. We send home larger canvas type bags of food for the Thanksgiving break and Spring break.
Truths Home - serving 1 family at a time - moves a homeless family from a hotel or shelter to a stable home environment. Organization has 2 duplex unitls. Families are allowed to stay between 12-24 months depending on the situation. During this time, the parents must be on a successful track to providing a stable home for their family once they leave our program. Families are carefully selected after completing an application and interview process.
Truths Place - Community Outreach center for hosting Life Groups with at-risk children and teens, provide multi-housing meals, ESL classes, supplies for teen girls in need, and other community programs
