THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN THE COMMUNITIES AND ITS RESOURCES BY PROVIDING TRAINING, COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES; TO FACILITATE SERVICES THAT PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING INITIATIVES; TO SUPPORT AN ENVIRONMENT THAT COMBATS STEREOTYPES AND BIASES THAT CREATE OBSTACLES AND CONFLICT FOR HARMONIOUS COMMUNICATION; AND TO EMPOWER THEM TO BUILD SAFE AND HEALTHY COMMUNITIES THROUGH EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL AWARENESS.
THROUGH THE BRIGHT FROM THE START SFSP PROGRAM, OVER 700 CHILDREN WERE FEED MONDAY THRU FRIDAY DURING SUMMER BREAK. DAILY NUTRITIOUS MEALS FOR ALL CHILDREN AGES 18 AND YOUNGER AND ADULTS 19 AND OLDER WITH MENTAL AND/OR PHYSICAL DISABILITIES.
