ASIAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY ADVOCACY. TO EDUCATE AND ADVOCATE FOR THE RIGHTS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE ASIAN AMERICAN AND OTHER MINORITY COMMUNITIES IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA
Hosted a Nonpartisan Candidate Training in which nearly sixty individuals were able to learn about running for office for local and state-level offices. This training program focused on steps to running for office including legal/compliance, fundraising, messaging, and field strategies.
Engaged voters around the 2019 Municipal Election in five municipalities with high populations of Asian American voters Johns Creek, Norcross, Chamblee, Doraville, and Roswell. This program included door-knocking, digital ads, and mail.
Planned and prepared for 2020 Elections and Legislative Advocacy by hiring new staff, created administrative protocols, and building internal infrastructure.
