The Computer Museum of America mission is to preserve examples of the computing artifacts that contributed to the digital revolution, to catalog these historically important artifacts, and record their surrounding history. Our goal is to ensure these assets are available for study, for exhibition, for education, and to encourage economic and vocational empowerment. See Sch. O for more details.
During 2019 the Computer Museum of America depended on contributions for their acquisition of large and small vintage computer collections such as a vintage computer technical documentation collection. The variety of contributions is truly representative of all segments of society with contributions such as the vintage equipment above to original vintage systems, other vintage computers and other items still in unopened original boxes. In addition there were services contributed and use of equipment contributed. As the collections and facilities are fully developed the admissions will continue to increase.
