Organizations Filed Purposes: She Is Safe prevents, rescues and restores women and girls from abuse and exploitation in high risk communities across the globe, equipping them to build lives of freedom and faith for a strong future.

Rescue and Restoration projects combat slavery through prevention, rescue and rehabilitation of trafficking survivors. 63,200 school children participated in abuse prevention training. 7,073 mothers and community members received training in trafficking and abuse prevention. 454 women and girls became less vulnerable to trafficking through direct intervention, counseling, and income generating programs.102 women and girls received shelter, counseling and vocational training so they can focus on building better lives for themselves. 78 girls and women were rescued from sex slavery and prostitution.

Economic Empowerment consists of vocational training and self-help groups where poor and marginalized women gain economic literacy, micro-loans, life skills, and hear the gospel. 4,748 women in self-help groups received life skills training, peer support, and heard the gospel.2,093 women and teenagers received vocational training to start income generating activities.360 women started new businesses.381 women gained literacy skills.226 women and teenage girls improved household income.

Education projects focus on at-risk children with an emphasis on educational opportunities for girls. This includes elementary schools, non-formal educational programs, and help for low-income families to keep children in school. 13,068 at-risk children and teenagers were set on a path toward a brighter future through education, personal care and improved nutrition.
