Food assistance, life skills and employment training for individuals and families in crisis
Papas Pantry is a Christian-based food assistance ministry focused on providing groceries to those in the community who do not have enough food and are experiencing financial hardship. Our greatest hope is to become a community where no one goes to bed hungry. Approximately 3,940 individuals received food assistance.
The Masters Training Center is the Educational division of Papas Pantry. Stability Solutions Workshops and classes are available for individuals seeking new or better employment options, and money management and budgeting skills. Other classes such as couponing, organic gardening, nutrition/healthy cooking and seasonal childrens programs strengthen families. The organization also conducted off-site life skills training for individuals in addiction recovery and at risk youth. Approximately 396 individuals received training assistance.
Christian Community News is a bi-monthly magazine, the Advocacy piece to the community for Papas Pantry. It contains stories of client struggles and successes as well as educational topics. CCN will warm your heart, make you laugh, and encourage your spirit.
