AMVETS Hawaii Service Foundation is a 501c3, public non profit organization established to enhance and safeguard the entitlements for all American Veterans who have served honorably and to improve the quality of life for them, their families, and the communities where they live through leadership, advocacy and services to help raise the needed funds for AMVETS Department of Hawaii's programs in the areas of human services, veterans, and youth. Ewa Battlefield Preservation Program: DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR (14100099), American Battlefield Protection Program Grant awarded $63,000 of which only $58,286.53 was used, returned $4,713.47 de-obligated and returned back to the U.S. Treasury.
HEAL - Health, Evaluation, Advocacy and Legislative Program: Public Awareness Campaigns for Suicide Prevention and Awareness training and roundtable discussions; provided other Veteran Services and Assistance; engaged in community service program initiatives by building relationships with community leaders, organizations, companies, schools, charitable organizations and veterans other service organizations; written letters to elected representatives and voicing your support on the issues that matter to our military families; created and distributed flyers and brochures; help improved communication for Department and Posts online presents on website and social media platforms to attract new members and share information with members, clients, friends and viewers alike.
