In response to the state's growing homeless crisis, Kahauiki Village is a plantation style community development designed to house Hawaii's homeless families. Kahauiki Village is a groundbreaking initiative that maximizes public and private resources to implement a long-term strategy aimed to achieve the following outcomes: Provide homes for homeless families; Provide employment opportunities within walking distance for homeless parents; Offer accomodation options for extended families. Kahauiki Village is a proposed community of approximately 150 one and two bedroom homes. When completed, Kahauiki Village is expected to house over 600 adults and children. At the end of 2019, 30 units were constructed and completed.

Hawaii Executive Conference explores innovative ideas and solutions to strengthen Hawaiis future by bringing together thought leaders and decision makers from the islands and beyond. The Conference and post-conference collaboration that follows addresses a range of topics that have relevance to Hawaii, including community and economy, health and welfare, arts and culture, natural environment and energy, government and policy, leadership and education.

VEX IQ robotics provides hands-on, minds-on experiences to inspire student interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Participants develop critical life skills and learn about teamwork, communication, problem solving and time management.
