THE ORGANIZATION'S FINANCE LITERACY ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF PROVIDING FINANCE LITERACY AND CAREER TRAINING TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, COLLEGE STUDENTS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC THROUGH OPERATION OF THE AKAMAI FINANCE ACADEMY (AFA). AFA, DEVELOPED BY THE AKAMAI FOUNDATION, IS A FIVE YEAR TRAINING PROGRAM BEGINNING IN THE 12TH GRADE OF HIGH SCHOOL AND RUNS PARALLEL TO STUDENTS WORKING TOWARDS A 4 YEAR DEGREE AT ANY ACCREDITED UNIVERSITY LOCATED ON THE ISLAND OF OAHU.
