Organizations Filed Purposes:
To promote the merit shop philosophy in Hawaii.
We maintained our membership finishing the year with 163 members. We promoted our merit shop philosohpy by publishing 12 monthly newsletter. We conducted an awards program that highlighted member companies. Our apprentice training program provides craft training for employess of our member firms. We continue to teach 5 basic trades carpentry, elecrical, painting, plumbing, and roofing. We also attend numerous high school career days. We hosted numerous networking opportunities for our members with dinner meetings, mgmt training workshops, safety classes, and numerous committee mtgs conducted where members gather to solve issues and chapter business.
