Through social innovation and entrepreneurship programs for youth adn community and professional development for educators and organizations we work to provide place-based, culture-based, purpose-driven innovative approaches to education and entrepreneurship for a thriving Hawaii and world.
Education Incubator is part of a movement to transform school into an incubation space for kid and community driven innovation, to shape the present and future our children should and can be leading us toward.
Innovation With Aloha - Youth: Our youth programs provide opportunity for youth to seek meaning and purpose, and to innovate products and services to meet community needs and evolve our world for better. Youth engage processeses such as self-discovery, design thinking, community needs assessment, purpose project ideation, empathy development and practice, and public demonstration of their innovations.
Innovation With Aloha - Our educator programs provide opportunity for educators to explore for themselves the processes of social innovation and entrepreneurship, focusing on place-based, culture-based, purpose-driven innnovative appraoches to education. We support educators in seeking meaning and purpose, and to innovate products and services to meet community needs and evolve our world for better. Educators engage processeses such as self-discovery, design thinking, community needs assessment, purpose project ideation, empathy development and practice, and public demonstration of their innovations; educators are then supported in exploring what impact or influence this might have in their future teaching.
Innovation With Aloha - Our community innovation program provides opportunities for learners of all ages in the general community to seek meaning and purpose, and to innovate products and services to meet community needs and evolve our world for better. The program delivery ranges from speaking events, workshops, classes, and community convenings.
