CSBG'S NA LIMA HANA EMPLOYMENT CORE SERVICES PROVIDES JOB READINESS TRAINING AND ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THOSE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT. OTHER PROGRAMS PROVIDED NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION TO THE ELDERLY AND FREE INCOME TAX RETURN FILING SERVICES.
SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SCSEP) CREATES USEFUL PART-TIME WORK OPPORTUNITIES IN COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES FOR LOW-INCOME PERSONS WHO ARE 55 YEARS AND OLDER. SCSEP ALSO ALLOWS FOR KUPUNA MENTORSHIP THROUGH COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND PROMOTES POSITIVE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL INTERACTION.
