SERVICES ARE STATEWIDE FOR MINORS AND PROVIDED ON OAHU FOR ADULTS. ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: 97 REFERRALS/VICTIMS WERE PROVIDED WITH CRISIS RESPONSE AND/OR COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT SERVICES.
POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT - PROVIDES A SAFE AND SUPERVISED PLACE FOR YOUTH TO COMPLETE HOMEWORK, HAVE ACCESS TO COMPUTERS AS WELL AS BE ENGAGED IN OTHER ENRICHMENT AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES. PROGRAM IS OPEN TO YOUTH AGES 10-21. ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: 117 YOUTH ATTENDED OUR AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM.TRUANCY PREVENTION - AIMS TO ENGAGE TRUANT AND YOUTH AT-RISK OF TRUANCY AT THE EARLIEST OPPORTUNITY BY PROVIDING CASE MANAGEMENT, EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT, AND DISTANCE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES TO EARN HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY. ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: 44 STUDENTS PROVIDED WITH TRUANCY PREVENTION CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES AND DISTANCE LEARNING SUPPORT.HOME-BASED PARENTING - PROVIDES BEST-PRACTICE PARENTING COURSE THAT INCLUDES THE FAMILY CASE MANAGEMENT, PARENTAL GUIDANCE, AND FAMILY ACTIVITIES. ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: 16 FAMILIES PROVIDED WITH INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT AND EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT SUPPORT.
EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY - DISTRIBUTES NON-PERISHABLE FOOD TO THE COMMUNITY AT THE CENTER AND AT A MAJOR LOW-INCOME PUBLIC HOUSING COMPLEX. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: DISTRIBUTED 69,404 POUNDS OF FOOD THAT BENEFITED 7,033 INDIVIDUALS.
