Women Cross DMZ engages in advocacy, education, and organizing by holding meetings, panels, webinars, etc. to educate the public about the Korean War and its impact and to seek a peace agreement to end the war.
Women Cross DMZ introduced it's Korea Peace Now! Campaign in spring 2019. This campaign aims to advocate for a peace agreement to end the Korean War. This campaign is undertaken in partnership with other feminist peace organizations. WCDMZ has coordinated with US based peace groups to advocate for legislation and policy initiatives furthering a Korean peace agreement. In the 2019-2020 fiscal year, WCDMZ organized and led meeting, panels, workshops and webinars to educate Americans. We have also amplified our message on major global stages, including at the UN, in the US Congress, and at the Nobel Peace Summit, as well as in headlines in major news media. Feminist Foreign Policy Initiative: In 2020 Women Cross DMZ joined with MADRE and Global Grassroots Alliance for Justice to explore how better to forge alliances between groups to press for a US foreign policy which calls for and works towards an end to endless wars.
