The Equip Foundation works to develop leaders and communities in both the developed and developing world. Our projects emphasize skills development, appropriate technology, local partnering and empowering the marginalized.
Hands on Houses - The program focusses on developing effective housing solutions for marginalized people in rural communities. In 2019, Hands on Houses provided 27 new homes (many of them for widows), employed and trained 20 local builders, and furthered research into appropriate building technology in Southern India.
