Provide support and assistance to community based educational initiatives and community charter schools. Through three grants from Kamehameha Schools to Hakipuu Learning Center: A Public Charter School educational services were enhanced and supplemented during the School Year 19-20 for 62 students, their families, and their greater community. These grants provided funding for the following purposes: 1. Staffing of Educational Assistancts, staffing of ocean/culture science labs and technology support. 2. Professional development to improve teacher effectiveness; 3. Staffing support for an Administrative Team approach to school management.
