SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS: THE SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM WORKS WITH SCHOOLS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO TARGET ALTERNATIVE WAYS OF LEARNING. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES SCIENCE-BASED CULTURAL, AND SUSTAINABLE, HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES.
MASI (MALAMAAINA SUMMER INTERNSHIP) PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM WORKS WITH HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OF THE WAIANAE COAST. STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN AN STIPEND PAID INTENSE 7 WEEK PROGRAM LED BY KAALA FARM STAFF AND CULTURAL PRACTITIONERS. STUDENTS LEARN THE HAWAIIAN CULTURAL WAY OF LIFE WHILE LEARNING ABOUT THEMSELVES AND WHERE THEY COME FROM.
