Organizations Filed Purposes: THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS ENRICHING INDIVIDUALS, BUILDING COMMUNITY AND CONNECTING OUR WORLD THROUGH THE PERFORMING ARTS. IN FULFILLING ITS MISSION, THE ORGANIZATION TEACHES CLASSES FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN, AND PROVIDES VARIOUS THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

ACADEMY CLASSES, CAMPS, WORKSHOPS, & PRODUCTIONS-THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTION IN DANCE, DRAMA, AND VOICE AT ITS PRIMARY STUDIO LOCATION IN WAILUKU, HI. DURING THE ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR, THEY CONDUCT OVER 100 WEEKLY CLASSES, AS WELL AS SEASONAL CAMPS AND WORKSHOPS DURING SCHOOL BREAKS. ACADEMY CLASSES AND CAMPS CULMINATE IN THEATRICAL AND DANCE PRODUCTIONS PERFORMED IN A VARIETY OF VENUES. DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR 3,122 CHILDREN PARTICIPATED IN THESE PROGRAMS.

SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS-THE ORGANIZATION BRINGS LIVE THEATRE AND DRAMA INSTRUCTION DIRECTLY INTO ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOLS IN MAUI COUNTY, REACHING OVER 10,000 CHILDREN ANNUALLY. MAPA'S EDUCATIONAL THEATRE TOURS HAVE BEEN BRINGING HIGH-QUALITY PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTIONS TO SCHOOLS FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND SERVED 7,532 STUDENTS THIS YEAR. MAPA'S VOICES PROGRAM TAUGHT LITERACY SKILLS THROUGH DRAMA TO 2,781 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS ON MAUI THIS SCHOOL YEAR.
