Organizations Filed Purposes:
The purpose of the Community Care of Wells County is to glorify God through sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed by offering practical, emotional, and spiritual support to women, men, and children of Wells County who are seeking assistance with difficulties in their daily lives. The corporation will seek to partner with area churches and like-minded organizations to provide short term housing, clothing and food assistance, meeting space for recovery programs, and other related programs and services. Through the various programs and services, the corporation will promote a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ and encourage Christian growth. There shall be no bias or prejudice with regards to age, gender, race or religion, in rendering services to individuals within the scope of the mission of the Community Care of Wells County.
Provided short-term transitional housing to those in the community wanting to put their life in order and get a fresh start.
SUPPORTED PEOPLE GOING THROUGH HARD TIMES THOUGH FINANCIAL ASSITANCE WITH HOUSING, UTILITIES, TRANSPORTATION, FOOD AND HEALTHCARE
Provided an outlet to the community to purchase used clothing, household items, appliances and furniture at a reasonable price.
