Organizations Filed Purposes: NATA rovides type club support for all varients of aircraft manufactured by North american Aviation 1938-1954, including the T-6, T-28, P-51, B-25. We do this by providing our members with technical drawings, operatiing handbooks and procedures to operate these aircraft. In addition we provide safety formation training education training clinics, restoration and maintenance advise and manuals by holding forums,training class and clinics. We also provide under authorization from the FAA under Formation Reg 8,900 the creation and issuance of FAST Formation authorizations for participating in FAA waiverd airspace, at air shows and public events

Code Skylines Magazine. Nata publishes under the Education and Communication mission to the membership the publication of our type club magazine "Skylines". A quarterly publication to members and enthusiats with articles about maintenance, operation saftey flight training, formation rules regulations and training clinics. Restoration stories by members, photo's of member aircraft and events from previous dates.

Code FAST Formation Training Clinics. NATA provides numerous formation (FAST) saftey training gatherings (Clinic's) throught the continential US where members participate in learning how to fly military style formations under FAA rules and guidelines. Doucmentaion and issuace of authorizations and the mamagement of that process represents approximatley 40% of the membership in maintaing records of their Formation Proficiency flights, and check rides. Annual authorization cards are provided to the qualified members to use as proof of skill in order to fly in FAA waivered air space, as in airshows and public events.

It is used as the management of membership profiles and related information, membership dues assesment and payment, actvivity forums for member discussions about maintenance, operation and training of NAA Aircraft, management of Formation training clinics and associated member records of formation proficiency and privilages. The website contains the bylaws, financial statements and associated documents for member review as well as the functional management committes. Finally members have unlimited areas for phot galleries of their aircraft and personal biographies.
