Organizations Filed Purposes:
Our mission is to keep seniors safe, healthy, and in their homes as long as possible. Through utilization of our Transportation, In-Home Care, and Life Enrichment services, we focus on caring for mind, body, and spirit.
Life Enrichment: Provides a variety of services. Senior case management provide free senior-specific educational, socialization, and exercise activities. State Health Insurance counselors are on-site to assist with Medicare insurance enrollment and questions, as well as process Medical Savings Plan applications for premium supplement assistance. Money Management staff assist with rep payee needs. In addition, tax preparation services are provided. In fiscal 2019/20, we served a total of 2,975 attendees at activity center; 308 tax returns were completed; and 287 medical insurance consultations occured.
Transportation: Provides transportation services to older adults for medical, pharmacy, nutritional, banking, and other personal business needs. We provided 10,521 trips for seniors in fiscal 2019/20.
In-Home Services: Provides direct and practical assistance with household management and personal care to assist seniors to remain in a clean, safe, and healthy home environment. We provided services for attendant care, homemaking, and respite. A total of 7,102 hours were provided to seniors in fiscal 2019/20.
