Organizations Filed Purposes: The purpose of the Spriestersbach Farm Corporation is to provide education about agriculture for the general public, with a particular emphasis on youth.

Provided support to the Lanesville Community School Corporation for new lights in their greenhouse. The school corporations agriculture program teaches students about growing plants in a greenhouse. The local FFA sells the plants grown as a fundraiser. The new lights are better for growing and are more energy efficient.

Supported a bus trip hosted by the American Dairy Association of Indiana where Indiana dietetic interns, veterinarian inters and other thought leaders participated in learning about dairy agriculture on a dairy farm. The program helped to explain the benefits of animal and human nutrition. The goal of these specialized field trips is to have future thought leaders be a third party voice advocate for what is actually occurring on the farms and in the communities and the science associated with all dairy.

Provided assistance to Wabash Co. Farm Bureau and Purdue Extension Wabash Co. to help purchase Google Expedition Classroom. With school budget reductions and lack of volunteers, it is more difficult to take students on real life field trips. Google Expedition Classroom allows students to participate and virtually travel without leaving the classroom. The possibilities are unlimited for educating the population who have limited knowledge of the impact that agriculture has on their lives.
