Organizations Filed Purposes: To provide oversight, management and operation of the 4-H Fair each year at Hamlet, Indiana. To maintain and provide buildings and grounds to conduct the fair. To operate fair activities

The Fair Board supervises the 4-H Livestock auction held each year so 4-H members can sell their animals. This provides the 4-Hers' an opportunity to raise funds for their 4-H projects and allows the community to reward their hard work. A donation to the Indiana 4-H Foundation is made with funds generated by the auction.

The Fair Board purchases trophies, ribbons, and plaques for the open-show competitions, which are not 4-H members, but members of the community. They also pay for the judges fees and serve as a pass through organization for 4-H Junior Leaders.

The Fair Board provides funds for outside services such as advertising, printing & copying, entertainment, and supplies used during the fair . The Board also provides funds to maintain and repair the fairgrounds and pay for utilities to run the fairgrounds.
