The mission of the organization is to help shine the light of Jesus Christ into the darkness of individuals lives by uniting the community in individual and corporate prayer. The HCCDG held title to the land and structures of its supported organization Calvary Christian Church of Hartford City, Inc. and as of 12/31/13 all assets have been transferred to CCCHC.

The organization provided a worship facility and equipment to support the ministry of Calvary Christian Church of Hartford City, Inc. The Building is used for weekly religious services as well as community wide preschool for 3-5 year olds during the school year. Various senior citizen and community groups use the facilities for training or fellowship meetings. The facility is also used for Christian fellowship by both members of Calvary Christian Church and other community individuals and groups. The Church holds an annual vacation bible school that attracts 200 children from the community and over 100 adult volunteeers.
