TO SERVE THE CHIN COMMUNITY OF INDIANA BY PROVIDING SOCIAL AND HUMAN SERVICES. TO HELP THE CHIN COMMMUNITY MEMBERS IMPROVE THEIR LIVES, TO BE EFFICIENT RESIDENT AND GOOD RESOURCES OF THE STATE OF INDIANA
Community Integration & Engagement Program Chin Community of Indiana conducted community meetings and conferences, collaborating with local government agencies for effective community integration and provided services such as ESL, after school program and Civic classes. It aslo included community day celebration.
Social Services Program Chin Community of Indiana provided various social services which directly impacted over 8,716 individuals in the past year. The services included translations, phone calls resources and referrals for various problem solutions. The program also assisted to community members for greencard and naturalization applications and follow ups in terms of translations. The program also helped resolve food stamps, medicaids, and medical bills related problem.
Employment Services Program The program connected multiple employers with the community The program also provided services for job appilications, orientations, transaltions and transportation.In fiscal year 2020, CCI organized seven job fairs with serveral companies.CCI helped 2,118 people to apply for jobs and 1,107 people were put into job placement.
