Health Care Education and Training, Inc. (HCET), is a nonprofit agency which provides quality comprehensive program development, education, and training to improve reproductive and sexual health outcomes. THESE PROJECTS SERVED APPROXIMATELY 5,483 PEOPLE IN 2019.
DISEASE PREVENTION EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH THE WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES GRANTS AND CONTRACTS and INDIANA STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CONTRACTS. THESE PROGRAMS SERVED APPROXIMATELY 2,129 PEOPLE IN 2019. THE COLPOSCOPY SERVICES PROJECT AIMS TO INCREASE THE AVAILABILITY OF AFFORDABLE COLPOSCOPY SERVICES TO RURAL, LOW-INCOME, UNINSURED WOMEN IN THE NORTHERN AND WESTERN PUBLIC HEALTH REGIONS BY ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING A REGIONAL NETWORK OF COMMUNITY-BASED COLPOSCOPY SERVICE PROVIDERS THAT ADHERE TO ESTABLISHED STANDARDS OF CARE WITHIN THOSE REGIONS. THIS PROJECT SERVED APPROXIMATELY 625 PEOPLE IN 2019.
OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE EDUCATION, TRAINING, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND EVALUATION PROJECTS THROUGH OTHER PROGRAMS THAT ARE ALIGNED WITH THE ORGANIZATIONAL MISSION BUT ARE NOT CATEGORIZED AS DISEASE PREVENTION, FAMILY PLANNING OR ADOLESCENT HEALTH. THESE PROGRAMS VARY EACH YEAR DEPENDING ON THE FUNDING SOURCES. THESE PROGRAMS SERVED APPROXIMATELY 86 PARTICIPANTS IN 2019.
