INDIANA VISION 2025 IS A LONG-TERM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTION PLAN DEVELOPED IN 2011 TO POSITION INDIANA TO BE A GLOBAL LEADER IN INNOVATION AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY WHERE ENTERPRISES AND CITIZENS PROSPER. IT OUTLINES 36 INITIATIVES IN FOUR FOCUS AREAS WHICH PROMOTE OUTSTANDING TALENT, ATTRACTIVE BUSINESS CLIMATE, SUPERIOR INFRASTRUCTURE AND A DYNAMIC AND CREATIVE CULTURE. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE IN-DEPTH RESEARCH, PROGRAMMING AND CONTINUED REGIONAL AND STATEWIDE OUTREACH OF THE PLAN INCLUDING REPORT CARDS TO TRACK PLAN PROGRESS. A 2016 TASK FORCE UPDATED SOME OF THE PLAN INITIATIVES.

IN A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH GOVERNOR HOLCOMB'S INDIANA COMMISSION TO COMBAT DRUG ABUSE, THE FOUNDATION IS FUNDRAISING FOR THE INDIANA WORKFORCE RECOVERY PROJECT. THE FOUNDATION IS UTILIZING THE SERVICES OF THE WELLNESS COUNCIL OF INDIANA TO CARRY OUT INITIATIVES OF THE INDIANA WORKFORCE RECOVERY. THE WELLNESS COUNCIL IS WELL-POSITIONED TO COMPLETE THE WORK OF THE GRANTS GENERATED BY THE CHAMBER FOUNDATION.

A MAJOR RESEARCH STUDY WAS COMMISSIONED AND COMPLETED IN 2020 TO STUDY ENERGY ISSUES AND POLICIES IN THE STATE. THE STUDY CONCEPT AND SCOPE WAS DEVELOPED WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF AN ADVISORY COUNCIL OF EXPERTS IN ENERGY ISSUES AND CONDUCTED BY LONDON ECONOMICS.
