Benefit, perform and carry out the charitable, educational, scientific and other exempt purposes of Indiana University Health Arnett, Inc. ("IU Health Arnett").

IU Health Arnett Foundation supports IU Health Arnett as it strives to be the preeminent leader in clinical care, education, research and service for the Greater Lafayette community and region. IU Health Arnett Foundation has several funds to support IU Health Arnett and its surrounding communities. Cancer Services Fund IU Health Arnett Cancer Centers treat a wide spectrum of different cancers, striving to bring the newest and most innovative treatments to the region. Patients have many options for their cancer care and they work with their physicians as an active participant in directing care. The needs of a person with cancer change throughout the cancer experience. The Cancer Services Fund helps to provide IU Health Arnetts cancer patients with assistance beyond what their insurance and personal finances may cover. A gift to Cancer Services can also be used for new equipment, expansion of services and programs, training and education or for general use. Education Fund The CareGivers Continuing Education Fund provides continuing education assistance for the IU Health Arnett employees involved in direct patient care. This fund allows employees to improve and maintain their education and skills in healthcare. Our team of nationally recognized, skilled professionals appreciates the opportunity to care for you or your loved one. Our goal is to offer you the best possible healthcare experience. Continuing education opportunities play a pivotal role in continuing to meet this goal. Chaplaincy Fund The Chaplaincy Spiritual Care Fund assists programs that provide a full-spectrum of spiritual/pastoral care needs addressing the body, mind and spirit for patient, patient families, and employees. Gifts to this fund can provide supplies, materials, or equipment to help in Spiritual Care efforts that can mean so much to those in need. Cardiology Fund The IU Health Arnett Cardiovascular team of cardiologists and clinical specialists are leaders in implementing innovative procedures and providing premier patient care. IU Health Arnett Cardiovascular is committed to being your resource for comprehensive cardiovascular healthcare. Our primary goal is to improve your cardiovascular health and quality of life. We have been providing specialty cardiovascular care since 1951. The Cardiology Fund could be used for new equipment, expansion of services and programs, training and education or for general use to assist patients. Patient Care Fund The Patient Care Fund aids in assisting patients and patient families with needs where there is no other financial support. Examples of needs may include: gas cards, meal vouchers, personal care items, etc. Gifts to this fund can help patients while in our hospital, and those who need help in getting back and forth to appointments. It also designed to help family members transport or visit their loved ones in need of their support and care. Many needs in this area are focused on the families of children who require a stay in the hospital. Hospice Fund The Hospice program is a specialized team approach to care for patients with an incurable or progressive illness in the patients home or nursing facility. Hospice care emphasizes symptom management of pain and physical discomfort, and provides for emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their families. The Hospice Fund could provide someone in need with a variety of Hospice services and personal needs beyond what their insurance or personal finances can provide, and could also be used for new equipment, expansion of services and programs, training and education or for general use. Community Initiatives and Education The Community Initiatives Fund provides support to a variety of educational outreach and resources to the communities that we serve and can include: health screenings, wellness assessments and specialized educational programs on topics such as childhood obesity and diabetes. More specifically, funds from this area have recently supported brain trauma awareness with helmet education of bicyclists and 4H Horse and Pony riders. Womens Services Fund IU Health Arnett provides state-of-the-art Womens Services Programs. Services are focused on womens care, including diagnostic services, health resources, imaging technology and complementary and alternative medicines. Gifts designated for the Womens Services Fund could be used for new equipment, expansion of services and programs, training and education or for general use for needs women may have beyond their financial resources. Pediatric & Neonatal Care Fund IU Health Arnett Neonatal Intensive Care and Pediatric Care Units are designated Riley Hospital for Children providers. Gifts to the Pediatric and Neonatal Fund will help to support needed equipment, training and education, and expansion of services and/or programs. This fund also helps to cover patient and patient family needs that may include supplies to take home, or items to help in making patients comfortable while staying in our facilities. Orthopedics & Sports Medicine IU Health Arnett Orthopedics & Sports Medicine providers deliver high-quality, comprehensive care for soft tissues, bones and joints. The Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Fund could be used for new equipment, expansion of services and programs, training and education or for general use, and can help to provide IU Health Arnetts patients with assistance with needs beyond what their insurance and personal finances may cover. Research Fund A gift to the Research Fund can help fund a number of programs and projects within IU Health Arnett. Clinical research is crucial to the development of new treatments and new uses for current medications. Clinical research studies, or trials, test investigational drugs or devices to determine efficacy. Gifts to this Research Fund can be utilized for equipment, supplies, or any other needs surrounding research studies or trials. Neurosciences Fund IU Health Neuroscience has the expertise to help patients with rare or challenging neurological conditions. The Neurosciences Fund could be used for new equipment, expansion of services and programs, training and education, or for general use for needs patients may have beyond their financial resources. Health and Wellness Fund This fund was established to assist us in enhancing our programs that promote a healthy lifestyle and supports our healers and community in maintaining and improving their overall health and well-being thru health promotions, wellness education and disease prevention. Friends of Arnett Auxiliary The Friends of Arnett Auxiliary serves a threefold purpose: Volunteering for various IU Health Arnett programs and projects, fundraising for specific projects and programs for patients and their loved ones, and serving as Ambassadors in our Community sharing our mission to improve the health of our patients and community. The Friends of Arnett Auxiliary is a group of committed individuals in the community who volunteer their time and talent to IU Health Arnett for the purpose of patient and community care. Current auxiliary projects include support of car seat safety checks and education, providing clothes to patients in the emergency department, Pawsitive Healers Canine team pet therapy for patients, and their newest endeavor, patient comfort carts. Area of Greatest Need This is the Foundations unrestricted fund to utilize as specific needs arise from our programs and providers to meet patient and community needs. This fund can be utilized for equipment, expansion of services and programs, training and education, or for general use. It is vitally important to have these funds for needs that do not meet the specific areas listed for giving.
